If you push the durian into the open square area where the two police piantas are, you have MUCH more room to work with. So you don't worry about the durian hitting the walls as much.

Also, from my own attempt, each time you consecutively hit the durian, it will go higher and take longer to fall down. So the timing between each juggle can get longer. Thankfully, it's very manageable and kind of feels like playing a rhythm game almost

Got this in just a few tries. Ric3737's comment sums up the salient points very well, but in addition to that make sure Mario is as close to the Durian as possible without kicking it away before hitting it up into the air for the first time, that way you impart as little forward momentum on it as you can. Once you get it up into the air in a relatively controlled fashion, it all just comes down to timing and precise position adjustments.

my mistake at first was getting too close to it, pretty straightforward once you kick it from about a mario-length away

i think this becomes easier once you realize that the durian does not obey the laws of physics, it will go in a direction that is not the one that you kicked it in, so you just have to be ready to change your angle to follow it after the first kick

way too glitchy. I like the idea, but the durian's colision being so broken makes this a mess, you just randomly lose sequences for stuff that is completely out of your control. I would personally make it less juggles and less points

Interestingly enough, I hit the durian 8 times before it clipped through me and bounced off the ground. I kept going with it after that bounce, and the achievement still popped for me. This one was a little tricky, but fun none the less.

I did at times feel like a kid losing their soccer ball after watching a few durians land into the ocean.

Gosh this one durian soccer was a hard challenge. Nice Mario Strickers achievement. That a real challenge was this one 😮

Definitely a tough one, most important thing is to make sure you're not moving at all by the time you jump, which ensures the durian will go almost straight up. You'll have to make some very slight adjustments each jump, but the hitbox is pretty generous after the first couple bounces, so it's better to not move than risk kicking it off at an angle.
