The worst part about this achievement is how strict the time is before the sand castle is destroyed. Otherwise, this was more of a waiting game than anything else.

Shoutout to that perfect attempt where all the Cataquack aligned perfectly but Mario thought it would be funny to grab the sand castle instead of going it.
I hate it here, genuinely hell, having to fast switch the nozzles was pretty fun but Cataquack are just a nightmare to manage and timing is extremely strict.

The only advise I can give is to try to always have a Cataquack stunned by the flower thingy you have to spray, preferably slightly behind it, it's the perfect spot for the first one you should jump on to have easy access to the next ones. Keep stunning it between attempt so you'll at least have one Quack you don't have to wait for to get in position.

HEYO! I found an easier method than having to wait for the cataquacks to line up!

SO! If you spray the dune seed, wait for it to trigger the sand castle, then start bouncing on a cataquack, you can keep bouncing on it even AFTER the sand castle is destroyed and the achievement conditions won't go away! Now, all you have to do is spray the dune seed again while still bouncing on the cataquack and make your way over to the sand castle with more time to spare!

I assume this works because the conditions are still being met. You sprayed the dune seed while on a palm tree and you haven't touched the sand because you're bouncing on a cataquack. Hope this helps anyone who's struggling like I was. :)

Oh yeah, I did noticed this kept the achievement active, I didn't felt like testing if it was viable tho. Admittedly I feel like it's the kind of things that might get patched at some point, like it goes against the point of the achievement, but I don't know. If it makes the achievements less hell for you then that's good lol

@HeyoDabido You are a hero! I legitimately thought this challenge was one that required complete perfection, and I thought it was going to be the sole reason I couldn't get all the achievements for this game. I had actually reached the warp zone three times without touching the ground and the game just decided I shouldn't have the achievement. I'm still extremely confused about why that happened. Your strategy actually makes this challenge doable, so thank you!

Yeah, I gotta agree with BaguetteKirby.
I overall think this is a very neat challenge, but with how hard the cataquacks vary in their patrols, it just kind of makes it an awkward waiting game. I dont even mind that they move, the degree they hinder the ability to jump straight back in with.

May or may not be easier but I was curious if this would work or not after reading the comments. Instead of the intended way, I went the rocket nozzle route

I started the cheevo as normal from palm tree, head over and get rocket nozzle (since you can land on grass but not sand), rocket to water, swim around and rocket to the beached boat nearby, spray from boat to open the sand castle again, rocket back in water then rocket and dive into the sand castle.

Took a little to judge the distance but mario can actually swim without touching the sand much closer, compared to if you walked from the beach into the water. The spot that he starts the swimming animation I mean, if that makes sense.

Anyway, that's how I did it. Really wasn't wanting to bounce on these quacks

This achievement is extremely frustrating, I've made it into the sand castle twice now using PixelJunkie's method but apparently I'm touching a singular microscopic grain of sand before the loading zone triggers so the achievement stays locked

Shoutouts to your method @HeyoDabido, waiting for these damn quacks to line themselves up might have made me eat my controller. I got it in about ten or fifteen minutes of trying. The last quack is the most frustrating part of this achievement. It has to be juuuuust right to both be able to make it to it at all and ALSO get to the castle. Happy to get this one out of the way.

Thanks @HeyoDabido worked like a charm, wanted to add you can hit Y while jumping it and moves your camera to get better angles. I tried a few times to get the last one before the castle but it was too far so I just did the one before.
