Get the ones in the forest first (next to a watermelon, 2 near the yellow goop, go behind the lighthouse for 2 more), then walk along the beach always going side to side and whenever you collect a new one just run around the whole group first to make sure they're still all there (and to re-catch those that went away). Avoid obstacles by a good chunk because they'll get hit by any obstacle.

At first I thought you had knock 15 cataqaucks at once but they stand in the ground for a little bit, just round up 10 and go run and spray the others.

the trick is to do the other cheevo first, than you sink them all with water in one shot, than do 5 remaining ones. First part is harder, but you should get this one first try with that tip.

I have a somewhat safer strategy if you have problems gathering 15 cataquacks from the beach:

Lure some cataquacks from the mirrors down to the beach. Just let them chase you and hover over the ledge without jumping. They should fall down instead of turning around and then proceed to walk into the wall trying to return to their spawning position. You can bunch up some 5-6 quacks this way that won't scatter. This is best done on the right side of the beach by the smallest watermelon.

Then bring over the missing quacks from the beach, spray them and immediately spray the group lured down before. This did trigger the achievement for me.

As someone who has quite a poor temper control, i find this achievement almost mentally dangerous. The sounds, the concentration, the monotony, and the frustrating aspects of the Catas, (how they can trip into trees and plant, their reset pattern, and their attack). Frustration and anger isn't an uncommon case in gaming but this achievement has too many stimulants for anger that i find this plausible for removal. It's not an achievement of skill, it's an act of pure willingness to not break something.

Why should an achievement be removed just because you have anger issues? If achievements are that miserable for you, I suggest looking into “Beats” on the website. If you earn all Progression achievements for a game, you earn a Beaten status. This might be more enjoyable for you to collect potentially, just something to look into.
Also, although not a hard one it is a test of skill, considering I can do it first try with minimal effort

It's not because 'I have anger issues' its that the collection of mind stimulants is unhealthy... Normalizing achievements 'because that's what they are' is one thing, but this is not an achievement that feels good to beat, it's one that brings relief to the brain when all the stimulant is gone, which majority comes from the sound and the 'triggers' for certain sounds. That's all I'm saying. I love the interesting new ways to make achievements for games like this but this one just feels like it's been created to make a number.

I agree with everyone else that this achievement isn't the best. The only justification for it to exist is to parrallel "The Rise of the Great Cataquack Army...". If I had made the achievement, I would've made you had to knock down 10 cataquacks, since the previous achievement made you have 10 cataquacks following you, so that would be the size of the army. Also, 5 points is a bit low for this.

Is there a difference between spraying them when they are on sand and spraying when they are on grass? Do I need to jump on them if they are on grass to get them to go under? It seems like the ones on grass just pop right back up after being sprayed but I don't see how I can get to 15 if I have to take time to hop on each one.

Yea, they do need to be on sand or you have to hop on them. I don't get the LittlePetbob strat because there is nowhere to lure the higher enemies where they will stay on sand once on ground level. So I lure down in a big group but I have to spray them then hop on them one by one. It seems like such a good strat but due to being on grass I can't get it to work.

I gathered all the ones on the lowest level, sprayed them, and then jumped up one level and lured them over to the sand by the secret Shine before spraying them

I just lured as many as I could from the main sand area down to one end and that gave me 12. Then I individually got 3 on the grass that I lured down and had to hop on them.

This really isn't that hard. Lure down some Cataquacks from the top ledge so there's a group of around 5 in one place, then gather your army of 10 from the beach. Spray them all at once while they're in the sand and they'll be stuck. Then clean up the five you grouped up on the ledge by spraying and jumping.
