^i did this way i had about 600k by time 7-1 just stuck it out till 900k grinding bullet bills then got 1 million by 8-2. thee most boring grind. this set is ok a few of the cheevos i think why ? now i have to try treasure cheevos and 1ups wish me luck see you on the other side.

3-1 is the Place for this. Get some 1-Ups but not to many or your Game is Over. Little bit grindy but not to bad.

The way people are complaining about the grind, it seems as if fast forwarding was forbidden in hardcore (it's not). 3-1, there's a perfect spot to use turbo + ffwd and get about 100k per life. Took like 2, 3 minutes. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I'd recommend being on 2nd quest and doing the 1-up trick on 3-1, then going to 3-2. There are loads of lines of koopas and buzzy beetles that are great for racking up points.

Ok, I just unlocked it with an easier start than the ones I read. Here’s what you do: Beat the game, then start 1-1, stay Small Mario, and use the strat to get “Combo Master III” where you use the first buzzy beetle after the 1st checkpoint to knock everything out and get a 1-up.

Here’s the twist: Don’t jump over the buzzy beetle shell. Let it kill you. You’ll start at the 1st checkpoint, and you can repeat this about 40-50 times. Each turn takes just like 10 seconds, so it’ll go by quickly. You’ll get your million points in 1-1.

It’s cheesy, but it’s less frustrating for me than trying to do the 3-1 1-up trick without going over the 128 life limit.

I agree! Look at how the community came together to think up solutions to this, it’s just the kind of deeper thinking about a game that makes RA so fun.
