    For some reason I thought you needed to spray the bird with only the Turbo nozzle as well, you don't tho

    This is much easier if you start from the beach, and then use the turbo nozzle to get on the big island (where the video starts) and use the momentum to jump to the shine.

    You can spin jump from the big island to the one with the shine. I found the preview video was a much more difficult trick to perform.

    Here is how i did it, as Grawl already mentioned, use the turbo nozzle to get on the big island. On the big island you can do a triple jump to the island, where the Shine is.
