If you attack a Dark Mechawful then you can't get the achievement on that enemy, best to restart the fight. Attacking a regular Mechawful before they get the new body is fine though.

You need to fight with a dark mechawful and hope that when you kill him a new body spawn, its random event so if the head go into the top and one round after a new boddy dont appear i reccomend restart the fight

If I'm not wrong, this is easier when done with 2 dark mechafwuls, as they won't fly off until both bodies are destroyed

Here is some advice on how I got this achievement. Use the dark mechawful next to the saveblock in the second part of Peach's castle. Please don't bother with the ones in the first half with trashfuls, it's slower and more unlikely. If they call it will be the first round after they lose their body so don't keep waiting afterward, just restart your game and try again. Also, I don't know if this has any impact, but It spawned after using punches and didn't use special attacks. Can't confirm if that's necessary so someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just got this one. Any fight with two Dark Mechawfuls is perfect for this, but I used the one a little ways past the door that needed the blue key. Destroy one but leave the other, the first will be guaranteed to rebuild it's body if the other still has its body, the attacks used does not impact this. From there take out the other to make things go a bit quicker. If you need to waste a turn against the 1.5, inhale does not count as an attack against it, so just spam that or items when needed. Timing is tricky on some counters, but the achievement will trigger as soon as the body receives the final blow, before the animation of it being destroyed.
