Note: The trick is to constantly set the hill on fire, try doing that with as little damage as possible since you wanna drag the hill fight out as long as possible. If you failed this then it probably was because of the hill fight. (and no, you don't have to do pure perfection, you can even have a turn left if you do it right)

To better explain, get excellent on all fire breaths with the train (This is done easily by mapping the mic to a button and just holding it). When you get to the fight against the mountain, don't push it into the spikey hills. This means being pushed into the spikey mountain at least once. You can push back a second time after this and it won't reach all the way to the spikey hill, just don't push back again if promoted a third time. Additionally, get oks on your fire attack against the mountain, excellent's will drain its health too quickly. Getting oks is as simple as letting go of the button as soon as the emoticon for the mic shows up.

Also, to help against breaking the spikey mountains, you can map the autofire of touch to a key and just mash it repeatedly while your cursor is over the circle. This should prevent you from taking damage from the missiles, allowing you to get pushed into the mountain.

On top of that, if while the hill is on fire, you can ''skip'' a hit by eating a mushroom obtained from the first phase so you can deal a bit of extra damage
