When you say "either quest" we agree that you mean one of the two quest is needed without dying right?

Otherwise it will be marked as " both quests" meaning make the two of them (normal one + 2nd one quest) without dying ?

This achievement has been updated to prevent exploitation of the controller 2 Up+A quit-out. That unfortunately made avoiding death extraordinarily easy and took all risk out of the achievement. Being a 50-point achievement, it was agreed that the feature is incompatible with the intent of the achievement. As such, this achievement will have to be earned in one session, so I'd like to offer some tips.

- Get some bombs and the blue candle early. This will allow you to get 3 extra heart containers and the white sword very early (certainly before level-2). It also will allow you to get over 250 rupees and purchase the blue ring very early as well. Lastly, get the letter when you are picking up the free 100 rupees in the top right of the map and always make sure you've got life potions. If you have blue potion, you can buy another blue potion to turn it into a red (two uses). Get a Magical Shield too as it will block fireballs and wizzrobe beams. Other than that, take it slow and utilize the beam sword as much as possible and you shouldn't have much issue staying alive.

This doesn't prevent save states does it? More because doing one play session for the entire game is tough, than any form of exploiting. Most other achievements have worked with savestates (assuming not hardcore of course).

So for being clear just do the game in SINGLE session without : retry in option ? (even if you loss progression for sure if you don't have the right to well...save)

I made it all the way to level 9 without dying, before making a wrong turn on my way to the Silver Arrow and then getting softlocked

Got disconnected from RA server while attempting this and can't reconnect, if I restart my emulator will it void the achievement
