Some tips:
1. That mission will be available only in Staunton Island
2. "Steering the Vote" is the second mission of Donald Love
3. When you get 5 areas, the yellow icons on your map will disappear, although the area will be still available to take it.
4. Therefore, try to memorize the leafing places to get the 6th area.
5. Be equipped with a micro SMG to do the drive-by on the other vans.
6. If your campaign van is almost wrecked and/or you need to ran away from cops. You can go to paint-and-spray next to you hideout.
7. The mission will be completed once you destroy both vans, so be aware to get the 6th area before exploded the 2nd rival van.
8. Yes, this is mission is actually missable.

The vans don't spawn until you get the second "spot" so my route is: go past amunation and get the one just north of it, go to amunation and set yourself up to drive west through the second spot because the vans always spawn at the bottom of the island. Doing this lets you get easily three or four before they even reach the general area. Once you get 5 they can't re-take areas. If you move north-south in your routing you should be able to get six before they even reach the yellow circles

You are right ,the problem is me, and my ADHD. I just see 5 and I move on with my day. I don't take time to slow the truck down read.

The description should probably specify that the mission needs to be completed in order for the achievement to unlock.
