This achievement will measure your progress X/20 with your currently equipped subweapon. When you change subweapons, the measurement will be updated to track your progress on whatever you have equipped at that time. You'll need to get all 4 subweapons up to 20 in order for this to unlock.

Easiest way to get this is to farm 20 ghouls with the dagger in stage 1 as soon as you can then pick up the holy water and right before you go upstairs to leave stage 1 you can farm ghouls with the holy water quickly usually 3-4 will run into the flame if you do it right. You will likely get your 1st 1-up in the process. Then in stage 3 get the axe as quickly as you can and run back before fighting the bat it's pretty easy to farm the ghouls running on the 2nd level with the axe if you run out of time who cares you just used the 1-up you earned. Then as soon as stage 4 starts the first candle is a boomerang grab it and only kill enemies with it as you work your way to stage 5 making sure to skip the dagger in the flying medusa head area. In stage 5 get to the stairs to go to the 2nd portion and simply go upstairs and back downstairs the knight will re-spawn along with the candle having 5 hearts so you cannot possibly lose at that point...
