Did not trigger for me, until I followed Ryan914's instructions, and it triggered in the same room.

I've updated the achievement. It should activate immediately after you defeat Toadonpa. If it does not trigger, the fix posted by Ryan914 will no longer work. In this case, please submit a ticket. But, hopefully, there won't be any issues!
