I had a lot of trouble with this one so I thought I'd share tips. You can actually do this jumpless, the elephant trunks can be avoided by going to the back of the elephant and either getting in the perfect spot or walking off of it. getting onto the elephant is tricky as well but there are multiple spots that you can get to without jumping that you can walk right off of onto the elephant as its traveling by. It does take awhile but you can no jump this job.

^ 40 presses is also fairly generous for this challenge. i managed to do it by jumping over all their attacks. the real difficult part is not getting hit by the scouts, but running away and coming back when they stop following always works. the key here is really to just be patient

I used the stairs on the right side when facing the front of the statue. You can walk onto the railing and jump once onto the elephants and use as many jumps needed for to not get hit by the elephants. this isn't timed so you can also make sure there aren't any enemies on the stairs or in the hallway by the stairs.
