    This was looking pretty impossible, at least on controller. I was getting seemingly perfect runs with consistency, but my end time was always 2:38-2:40.

    It went better for me when I actually started using handbrake turns. I got a time of 2:30.

    Any time you spend making a tight turn is time that Vic is not leaning forward, thus you lose speed. Even though the turns are small, using the handbrake turns will allow Vic to gain speed for longer.
