Didn't work for me. I used the sword and bombs. Didn't pop. Tried it 2 times already :(

I cleared the room 3 times and the achievement didn't pop, while I had the white sword BUT also had 12 heart containers...When I did it with fewer than 12, I got the cheevo.

The achievement was written in such a way that if you hit a Darknut with a sword, then a bomb, it would sometimes skip a requirement that the Darknut be at half health. I've removed the half-health requirements.

Beat the room with rewind (so not on hardcore), no sword, using bombs and getting a fairy: did not pop

I would like to note that I kept thinking this was broken until I realized I was in the wrong room. It's the room with the stairs in the upper right corner, NOT within the blocks. Oof.

Ok so a really cheap strategy for this one if you struggle with this like I did.

The Blue Darknuts only attack it to walk into you. However they cannot walk on one square in the room, The entrance block. Of course you cannot attack from the entrance block and have to leave to do so but you can duck back in if things get too crowded.

So my strategy for this one is to get to full health before entering the room. Now with full health stand in the doorway. When opportunity arises leave and shoot sword beams across the room (or a little bit closer if you are confident enough). If the darknuts start getting a little too close duck back into the doorway and wait out until you have space again. Then just rinse and repeat.

You can either take them all out this way or do what I did where I thined out the room enough that it became easier to naviagte around them.

The only drawbacks I have are that firstly it takes a long time. Obviously the white sword isn't that good for this point of the game and you still need to time you blasts to hit their sides or back. Also if you aren't careful you can walkout of the room by accident and completely mess up your attempt.

But I hope this helps others.
