I also used Crash Bomber on Form 2 and flawless win!

The Crash Bomber can indeed take down Form 2 in one hit, but you have to shoot at a much lower location on the boss. If you shoot the regular weak spot with the Crash Bomber it merely does some minor damage.

@Xiroes You can lose all your lives and select Continue to restart at the rematches with all ammo. (Do not choose stage select or you will be put back to Wily 1!)

I couldn't figure it out - wasn't working for me or so I thought. Watched the video from @Jazmataz and you have to throw out the crash bomb as wily's ship is moving backwards. Was able to get it after that.

the trick is to finish the first phase while Wily is close to the left wall, that way he will immediately start going back to the right on phase 2, since the Crash Bomb trick only works while he's moving right.
