They've got 20 HP and 1 defense. You can't kill them with one-hit-kills, like Parakarry's Airlift or Bow's Spook. Sleep and paralysis will also not work on them. In addition, they run away on their first turn.

Use Bombette's down C-button explosion to start the fight, then just hit him as hard as you can.

It's a difficult and challenging (yet rewarding) achievement since they are worth over 70 EXP.

You can also stun him using the dizzy attack badge at the start of the fight,
to skip the first turn

I got it! Thanks for the tip, BoneScholar.
I also used 2 power plus badges, Power Smash and Bombette's Bomb attack. Even with that I had time to use Tattle with Goombario on the first turn.

❤️ AMAZY DAYZEE XP FARM ❤️ You can only find them in ONE place. From main area, southeast path (Yellow Flower Gate) make your way across vine path. Hop on Lakilester, make your way across to Blue Berry tree, there are two Crazee Dayzee here, not what we need. Keep going right to next screen then come back to refresh enemies. I usually do this 1-3 times before Amazy Dayzee shows up, they sparkle and they're easy to spot. You will NEED TWO BADGES - "Mega Smash" and "Dizzy Attack." I also use Power Plus to increase Hammer strength, got that early on. It's helpful, but not necessary, you can use Lakilester instead if needed. Use Z button spin attack into Amazy Dayzee, this will make them dizzy for 1 turn before they can respond. You don't even need your partner, just use Mega Smash for 10 DAMAGE, then do whatever else. Next turn, they get up but can't respond yet. Use Mega Smash again, boom they're defeated. You should get 43 Star Points, great for leveling fast. To reset spawn, fly Lakilester back to the great tree, travel back to Toad Town, come back and do it again. This is the fastest way for them to respawn, otherwise leaving screen and coming back only spawns back ONE, and I've never seen another without the hard reset return to Toad Town. Hope it helps! ❤️

No clue how Vopyr was able to use power bounce because I've tried that exact same setup multiple times and it always misses.

2 Power Plus, Mega Rush and Power Smash were all I needed after getting the first strike. Bombette is a good idea if you don't get the first strike.

The most trivial method (and thus the best one for farming them) is Dizzy Attack with two Power Plus's and the All or Nothing and the Ultra Boots; this makes a regular Jump do 5 + 5 damage, which you can then do twice. Without the Ultra Boots (or one of the badges), you can do 4 + 4 damage twice and then the other 4 damage with your favorite partner; however, the area cannot be reset quickly without Lakilester, and he lets you go get the Ultra Boots, so you may as well get them first if you're planning to farm.

Really, Dizzy Attack and almost anything that does okay damage will work if you're just going for one kill, you have a litany of options at this point in the game, the badges that require a lot of setup like Mega Rush are extremely unnecessary.

"Miss" is what it says when you have All or Nothing on and fail the action command; you were presumably failing the action command each time. Amayzee Dayzees are not immune to Power Bounces; nothing in the game is, there are instead just kind of obtuse caps on the amount of bounces you can do. Here's a nice article on the subject:

The TLDR is "it's pretty random but having Dodge Master equipped helps a lot". In general, always equip Dodge Master before doing Power Bounces; on enemies with high caps, it helps turn later jumps from 2 frame windows to 5. On enemies with low caps, it helps you squeeze a few more jumps in probably.
