There are lots of bats and medusa heads everywhere now. In stages 1~6 enemies always do 4 points of damage instead of 2. And stage 10 is pretty tough since water enemies appear unpredictably. But overall it's pretty doable with continues.

If you done stages 1-12 on NG+, the difficult on the last completed stages are normal. Good luck :)

I had 8 lives after finishing the game on the 1st run. Lost 5 of those on Medusas stage alone. Gets gradually easier after that. Once you get to the Reapers stage, its the same as it was during the 1st loop.

Who the hell thought that mixing bats, fleamans and birds at the same stage would be a good idea? God that was frustrating

Finally made it! it was much harder than expected, but I got really good trying it, 1° loop seems is easy now. I am very close to master this magnific set.

Finish the game, after the credits, a new game will start and you will be in the second quest, which is basically the same game on the hard difficulty.

Wow, never made it past Stage 15 whenever I played this game in the past for various reasons, but now I've beaten the first and second quest back to back! Stage 10 & 11 are hell, which basically forced me to keep the stopwatch from the beginning until the boss. However, using the strategy to throw knives at Monster from the left corner while keeping an eye on Igor actually works somewhat to my surprise.

Stage 10 and 11 are the most grueling, miserable parts of the Second Quest/2nd loop. Some of you guys say the Merman seemingly jump randomly but it's the opposite; the Merman in the First Quest/1st loop are the ones that actually jump "randomly". They just do it in a way that tend to be off to the sides of Simon. If you stop and observe long enough in the Second Quest, they generally jump directly under the candles, but they seem to do it approximately 2 or 3 seconds after the candle has spawned onto the screen, or when you're directly under the candle.
