How can I achieve this? The triple mushrooms count? What does "one session" mean, one race, one cup or what?

One Session means getting all items at least once without resetting the game. Remember to get the Triple Shrooms in Time Trial mode. I think they count too.

Pretty new to this achievement thing but I saw a lot of people helping in the comments so I thought might as well help with this one

The main issues I had with this are the wording. "One session" DOES NOT MEAN ONE RACE/CUP. As the comment above pointed out "one session" means you just have to do it without shutting down the game/reset. Another thing to note is that the Triple Mushrooms in Time Trials also count.

So, the items essentially are:
1. Green Shell
2. Triple Green Shell
3. Red Shell
4. Triple Red Shell
5. Boo
6. Banana Peel
7. Mushroom
8. Star
9. Lightning
10. Spiny/Blue Shell

11. Triple Mushroom

I ranked them in ways that were easiest to get (for me) because the blue shell just does not want to appear for me

I think the easiest way to get all of them is item farm in Rainbow Road in a Quick Run by basically staying in a box while spamming L. After getting all of them just head on to time trial to get the triple mushroom
