I did this 3 times already and I can't unlock this skill point. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

For anyone wondering (like the person above me) - it seems like the wrench does not count as a "ratchet and clank" weapon. I accidently killed one enemy with my wrench and didn't get the achievement, but I reloaded the level, didn't use the wrench and this time got the achievement right away :^)

Just want to add that you can definitely use the wrench for this (I did and it unlocked fine for me). Remember to take out the enemies in the facility area (accessible via the warp near your ship). This includes the spotlight enemies, as well as the small turret things that create the electricity charges, which are very easy to miss.

This one is easier to get on a revisit after finishing all the missions. The wrench is allowed, but the MVP of the old school weapons is going to be the Visibomb gun. Also note that on a revisit, the teleporter that takes you inside will auto move you right in front of the glider pad, so you need to fall down in order to do the inside part in reverse.

Careful not to have a nanotech upgrade go off while you're doing this as it'll void it out.
