I'm actually trying my best to think of a part in the game where Marins like "Link my dream is that you don't die" lmao. She never says anything like that, which is why this one is missleading. I literally thought I had to do something for her.

Not so hard. The only time to worry is in the beginning of the game, the first boss. After get the first glove, we only need to keep buying the medicine.

Gamepad required. If you use a keyboard, you have to die to save the game as it can't register the four simultaneous button presses (A+B+Start+Select) needed to access the save menu.

Why wouldn't it be able to register 4 buttons at once? That hasn't been an issue in decades. Even cheap USB keyboards offer nkey rollover

Yo @tr1n theres absolutely no possible way to beat the game without marins song, in fact. You have to learn it in order to get the key from the desert.

So, im afraid youre lying.

Um, question!

I'm playing on a Steam Deck (RetroArch), and the only way to save in this game WITHOUT dying is by pressing A, B, Start, and Select. But pressing Start and Select at the same time shuts down the game!

Any way to work around this? Is it possible to remap the 'reset' function to a different keybinding?
