Man was this one a Grind, I'm assuming everyone else who's getting this in Hardcore mode is banning Cloud Trades like I am, which means no way to easily Dupe Gems.

To get this Achievement you need to hand over 30 Gems to the Cube Corp Guy, which doesn't sound great but certainly doable, especially if you've been doing Raids Regularly, Mining etc.

Except he doesn't want 30 Gems, he wants 30 of one type of Gem specifically.

And chances are your Gems are spread across several different ones even after every other achievement, I know my highest was at 5 Dragon Gems when I started, and if you want 1 particular Gem then the best bet is to go and trade Hard Stones.

This means I had to Grind 500 Hard Stones up for this achievement, which I did by Knocking off Rogenrola repeatedly Absol Superluck with 5 Pickup Mons in the back to at least maximize my rewards from this unfortunate endeavour, and at 20% chance of Hard Stone I needed to kill 2,500 Roggenrola's, but at least all my Everstone needs and thus other Evolutionary Stones got taken care of in theory, even if in practice I had already long since finished evolving every Stone mon for my complete dex already, which is only missing Legendary's, Fossils and Casino Mon at this Point.

I succeeded after a few hours, but my second least favourite achievement for this game, although Cloud Burst 400+ is still the crown bearer.

this ones a rough grind, but what i did was go to the desert and use the rock smash on the stones near the tomb, enter the tomb to reload the rocks, and repeat, doing this for 480 hard rocks. just put on something like music or a show as background noise so you don't lose your mind

Wasn't too painful of a grind but wasn't fun regardless. The best place to farm Hard Rocks in my opinion is just a little west from the Tomb of Borrius. You will find three boulders and three rocks there. Push the boulders north until they stop moving at the bones on the ground then just break the rocks, run to the boulders, run back and repeat. You will need repels for this to work though.

Or an easier way, which got me like 15 of my gems, is do all the Battle Frontier stuff first and then buy as many Wishing Pieces as possible. Find whichever gem you have the most of, find a good raid for it and go to town on the raid, reloading a save if they dont drop a gem.

Another way to get hard stone,
Just do the mining minigame in the KBT Expressway

If you do the "professor oak challenge" subset in the same time, since you need to do the minigame in the early game you have already some hundred (hopefully you don't sold them)

But it's full grind too, and don't know if rock smashing is more faster, i ve never compared both

There are some gems you can get as daily pickups in the overworld. I ended up cashing in Ice Gems because besides raids and mining it was easy for me to remember you could get a free one outside Icy Hole (it's behind the rock behind the ledge)
