i have tried dabots method over 20 times, and every time mad dogg gets alerted and doesnt reset back to the couch

tip: get the silenced pistol from the conference center in los santos before you start the mission. you wont beable to use it until after you collect the book. but it makes it much easier to take out the guard near mad dogg

If you struggle with the hiding spots then try lowering the game's brightness, cause it seems it affects the stealth mechanics. You can see for yourself that if you turn it all the way up your blip in the minimap is white, meaning you WILL be seen. I had no idea this was a thing until I went for the achievement

Yeah, follow Mameshane advice, not sure if you can kill that guy behind Mad Dogg with the knife, I tried but he shot me... then be very careful with the guy in the hall close to the bartender, don't rush it or he will catch you.

got it in the end, such a glitchy achievement that relies randomly on the guy gaming not spotting you.

Never had an issue with the gaming guy but I don't walk near him. If you walk in the back and go to the top floor after getting the book. jump around and you'll startle a few guards. Walk quickly back downstairs and hide and you can get rid of a few more guards without killing them.

You can quickly go through section 2 where the pool is, and hide in the next room, even if he runs in your direction, he won’t burn you, and you’ll still learn the achievements

Just a tip: The first guard you kill doesn't seem to count, because you need to kill him to progress.

The pool guy always seems to spot me after I enter the room after it. I don't understand why? Even if he's away, after the short cutscene is over, he is spawned right behind me.

eu tava fazendo essa missão e matei mais de 3 guardas contando ida e volta pelo menos, a barra de vida não diminuiu por eu estar de colete ,a barra do colete diminuiu e desbloqueou essa conquista 🤔

for those who have issues of shadows not working as intended bring your game brightness down in options yes.. brilliant QA testers did not find this funny problem that decreasing brightness actually helps the stealth in this game.

not killing the guy in the pool area may lead to him getting stuck to another guard and making this cheevo impossible

Glitchy, killed the one beside guy playing games, but the guy before the pool spotted me and even shot me several times. I just hurried to the corner in the pool and sat there in shadows. The guy lost track of me, I exited and STILL GOT THE ACHIEVEMENT, lol
