Inverse battles are kind of tricky, but with some setup, you can easily sweep his whole team with a combination of Sticky Web, Toxic spikes, and Hex Gengar. I ended up using Araquanid to set up webs, let it die, Drapion for tspikes, let it die, and then Gengar will clean up.

Thanks for the tips! I used:
- Beedrill leading with Toxic Spikes
- Charjabug (Focus Band/252ev in HP) with Sticky Web
- Torkoal with Lava Plume (or any bulky pokemon) for taking out the first pokemon
- Gengar (252ev in speed) with Hex
- Optional #1: extra Charjabug
- Optional #2: extra pokemon for dealing with first pokemon

Ribombee w/ Sticky Web (It's an egg move), Nidoking w/Toxic Spikes and Gengar with Hex should get the job done

Not original, but I did end up using a similar strategy for this fight, using Araquanid as my Sticky Web setter, Nidoking for Toxic Spikes and Gengar as the obvious sweeper. You absolutely NEED Sticky Web for this strategy, as even with maximum EVs and a Timid nature for Gengar his Mega Loppunny will 100% outspeed and OHKO him otherwise.

I also ended up using Zygarde 10% for this fight and might have ended up saving it, since you can Glare his opening Pokemon (Bewear) to set it up for Gengar to sweep through it with Hex.

Easily sweepable with a little sustain like leech seed. I coiled Serperior to max while his Bewear fruitlessly attacked me then proceeded to OHKO his whole team with leaf blade. Easiest gym leader yet.

Yes, I can confirm that Tremmy's trick with Serperior works perfectly. Just make sure to EV train his speed enough so that he can outpace Heliolisk because otherwise it won't work.

As for EV training and general exp training, the Inverse House next to the Pkmn Center is amazing for this. The girl trainer on the bottom floor is perfect for speed + special training, whereas the guy is perfect for attack training. Level 36 Serperior can usually solo them while leveling up/EV training weaker mons in your party. The guy by the door will heal you, which helps speed things up. Buy the stat-reducing berries in the market to the south to reduce whatever stats you don't need -- the money you'll get from beating these trainers will more than pay for this. As for someone who genuinely hates traditional EV training, this almost felt too fast and straight forward.

To me this was one of the hardest until now, but I should have come here to check some suggestions as you guys definitely used better ways than me!

I believe I was just really lucky as I tried a few times and was completely destroyed right away. My last attempt I simply used Golem first with Rock Blast. If you are lucky, it can KO the first pokemon right away.

After this, Golem had 1 hp. I then switched to a useless pokemon and used him to use a hyper potion on golem.

The enemy pokemon, the one that uses a gem, KO'd my mon in one hit after this so I just switch out to Golem again, tank his first hit and use Rock Blast to KO it in one hit. After this I used a combination of Gengar and my started to finidh the rest. The only challenge after these is Milktank in my opinion

yup, sticky webs + toxic spikes + gengar with hex can just sweep this gym easily. have to watch out for mega lopunny's fake out, but other than that, its free.

Very tricky one and would've never got it without this comment section. Gengar with Speed EVs and Hex + Nidoking with Toxic Spikes & Charjabug with Sticky Web.

Thumbs up for the sticky web + Poison spikes. Took me 2 attempts to get it done. Also used Gengar as Special attack Sweeper (expert difficulty). Only problem can be Bewear, But when I got him half an health with some other Pokemon. It was all 1HKO
