Tips: Hercule starts at level 40 instead of level 1 if Goku is level 45 or higher before the final cell fight in the cell games and i also recommend giving him all the capsules you find in the game because he has low stats.

The most efficient way to level to 50;

• Once you begin looking for the Dragon Balls, level Goku up to 40 and open his 40 Door in the Northern Mountains.

• Level up Gohan to 50 on the Triceratops (He has no other option)

• Level up everyone else to 45 at the Triceratops.

• Open Gohan's 50 door north of Ginger Town

• Level everyone to 50 on the Red Snakes behind Gohan's 50 door.

This process is slow no matter what you do, but the Snakes die in one hit and can be cycled through quickly while maintaining Super form with Energy drops. Your other options are stick to Triceratops or fight the Gold Eggbots in Trunks' 50 door.

I'm pretty sure Hercule starts at level 40 regardless of what Goku's level was. My Goku was level 41 when I beat the game (only 1 more than his level door needed enter the Cell Games), and Hercule still started at 40 for me.

When I first took control of Hercule I thought..
"tHiS iS gOna bE a nIgtHmAre!!"..
He's so weak, and he dies easily..
Getting 10 levels on him will be an eternity..

But then I remembered,
I collected every single capsule and didn't use even one because I'm so indecisive I wasn't sure who to use it on..
The answer to that question is simple, there's only one answer and that's Hercule..

All the other five choices are strong in their own ways once you know how to use them. After I gave Hercule every single capsule in the game, him taking on the triceratops in Goku's door wasn't so hard anymore. Just get a nice rhythm going and you'll just keep knocking them back, and if there's multiple triceratops together that just means you're knocking them back altogether at once. Experience points after experience points.

When I first started this game I thought the fighting was a nightmare. All the bosses I could just never hit them. Well I could but they'd always hit me back twice as hard. It's all about rhythm once you figure out a good rhythm you want to just keep pushing forward Non-Stop. Once you learn it the game's pretty easy.
