You must damage PH enough to slow him down as soon as he spawns. I'd recommend emptying a Handgun clip on him or several swings with Steel pipe. When you reach the fenced-window unload a full Handgun clip through it and run for the elevator.

This one is hard. It looks like we have to memorize the map layout as well. I will give up for now.

valts has a good strat. I want to add that I played it safe by only running to two corners before turning around, running back to Maria, and firing at Pyramid Head. I ran to Maria so I don't accidentally shoot her. Pyramid Head was right behind Maria all times that I opened fire on him but he didn't attack yet - so there is pleny of time to stop him from hitting her. I counted 8 rounds (you can see Pyramid Head's walk animation slowing down) before continuing down the hall. I used about 40 rounds of ammunition in the hallway; I'm sure there's a better way but I was being careful.

This was unexpectedly easy!

Valts has the right idea. I'll break it down as best as possible.

1. From the door, head down the 1st straightaway. Stop inside the first corner.
2. Push Maria into the corner without moving into the 2nd straightaway. Pyramid Head spawns as soon as you set foot in the 2nd straightaway.
3. With Maria wedged in the corner, take a step or two into the 2nd straightaway. As soon as you see the challenge indicator light up, run back to the 1st straightaway and shoot Pyramid Head until his animation is abruptly slow.
4. Run down the next few hallways. Once you SEE the red cage area, take a few more steps forward and stand against the cage. This will cause Maria to catch up to you closer to that wall, so you can sidestep her.
5. As Maria is approaching, sidestep her (so you don't accidentally shoot her), walk past her towards Pyramid Head, and shoot him until you see him do his slow animation again. It's fine if James does his reload animation here. Pyramid Head will stab James since he's closer, which is great, since it gives you time to continue firing.
6. Run around to the other side of the cage. Stop midway to shoot Pyramid Head again until he goes slow. Make sure NOT to shoot enough that James reloads. Let Maria catch up.
7. All's well! Run to the elevator!

Just unlocked this but it hasn't hit the RA website yet because my internet is garbagio, and honestly, I tried the methods outlined above but I could not get Maria to cooperate with me and she just kept staring into the walls of corners, back turned to Pyramid Head, so I just used James as a meat shield and kept tanking his attacks and unloading tons of shotgun shells into him lol. Had this achievement required James being unhurt as well, I don't think I'd be able to achieve that haha. Glad that's done.

amores, melhor vocês atirarem no PH a cada curva, correr nem sempre é bom pq o movimento do james é cagado na hora de dobrar e atrasa muito.

One of the worst achievements on this website. Mind you, I've seen things you wouldn't believe. This definitely goes the distance.
