i need some extreme clarification on this cheevo. i was in Stage 3-3 thinking i could just buy the Feather in the Black Market and make it to the end of the game with it intact. the cheevo didn't activate at all and i was pretty mad.

It doesn't work like that, you must at least own a feather in the first world (1-3).

This achievement also requires that you DON'T LOSE AN ANGEL'S FEATHERS during the game (not just have it in your inventory, there would be no challenge in that)

I got this in my second playthrough, using a password which starts at 2-1 with no feathers. I had played through the Underworld without buying a feather before I stopped playing and got that password, then in the session I got it, I played through the rest of the game normally. I bought a few feathers in world 2 and ended up never using any of them.

I finally got it to trigger by winning a feather in 1-1s treasure room, then never picking up another one (or using the first one obviously). Single session, first loop, no passwords used, multiple deaths used to restore health.

Needed four attempts for this, because always of one silly nervous mistake. As an advice, intentionally taking damage is a preferred strategy in some tricky situations in World 3 instead of dodging and then falling into a pit, that is, if you have health to spare. Attempting this achievement made me competent enough that I beat the game deathless...

Not sure what's going on here... i definitely have had some moments where i was "half body below the screen" but without triggering the feather and i did not get this achievement unlocked. I got my feather in a treasure room in 1-1 and kept it til the very end (while going for the bad ending achievement)
