The Golden Suck Cannon ups storage capacity from 5 to 10 and makes this a lot easier. It's available on Gemlik Base in the first playthrough already.

note you have to damage drek to stage 2 before starting this. he doesn't use the mines in stage 1 so you run out of ammo.

also i suggest preloading 10 shots on frogs first.

I've bought the gold suck cannon and get about 25/26 shots into him during stage 2, then during stage 3, every time I've jumped onto the grind rail to evade Drek, it automatically counts the achievement as failed. Idk why it's doing this but it's making this achievement way more difficult than it needs to be.

My tip: get gold suck cannon, make sure you pre load 10 shots. Then get 6 hits with the Tesla claw in first phase and finish him of with the suck so you go into the 2nd phase with hits already on him. Also do not double jump during the fight only single jumps.

Something about this achievement is REALLY weird. It fails if you grab onto the edge of one of the platforms between fight phases. What's up with that?

incredibly tedious, buggy and RNG-based, none of these words in any combination is fun

* The final Suck Cannon shot phasing him from Phase 1 -> 2 does not count (pre-loading the Suck Cannon, damage him enough to make him phase using your pre-loaded Suck Cannon: you now have 4/30)
* The final Suck Cannon shot phasing him from Phase 2 -> 3 does not count either (same thing here, if you pre-loaded Suck Cannon you will be at 28/30)
* Phase 3 is random if you do not have extra shots left from Phase 2, get lucky to have him spew mines within the first two "attacks", as the Thruster-Pack Power Slam fails the achievements

Wasn't a whole lot of fun but I didn't have the bugs other people seemed to. My method was

-preload 10 shots into suck cannon
-start the fight with 12 devastator shots
-switch to suck cannon. Only shoot drek during the bomb attack. During his missiles just focus on dodging. If you hit all your shots he'll phase 2 with 1-2 shots left
-same as phase 1, just be patient and dodge missiles, shoot during his bomb attack. You should get your 30 shots in well before phase 3 ever starts.

Also helps if you make a save after the robo clank fight, then you can reload the save from the menu to quickly reset on fail.
