What version of the game are you using? it is mysterious that it doesnt work for you, it worked for me and a 555 other people

for some reason, i obtained the 'without being harmed' achievements at the very beginning of each boss fight (but did get hit)

Yar.... I tip my hat to you captain. You got me after the credits like a true sea dog and forced me to do it again.
