Just a heads up that if you get hit during the actual battle after the containers then just restarting from the last checkpoint isn't enough, you gotta reload the save. Basically just do both parts without any damage for real, no checkpoints in between. The same goes for the Krauser damageless achievement. Good luck and have patience. Also feel free to use the Magnum for this entire fight, it's the best place for it after Verdugo anyway. Just try to save a clip for Saddler's main eye and Krauser's final battle. If unconfortable with how much Magnum ammo is left after this just redo the fight with other weapons after unlocking this achievement, it's less trouble then doing this with weaker weapons for sure.

Tip for a quick kill fully upgrade the TMP, trap him then spray at him. If you do it right he wont break down the cage and would die before you run out of bullets.

This one's tedious but here's some tips for getting through the containers (Always have a grenade equip when running as this makes Leon a bit faster!)

For the 1st, turn and run to the button on right side and U-3 will likely jump up into the roof. Then run through to the 2nd button. If U-3 jumps down, bait him into an attack and then run past on his left side.

In the second, you can get both green lights before U-3 appears. Step a little right with your back up the wall of the container, pull out the rifle and aim up. Then go down the right path, stand to the left of the bars and shoot the other light. Makes it a lot easier, since now all your have to do is run.

In the last container, go to the left, equip a hand grenade and throw it over the metal shutter. It should open up and you can hit that button before U-3 even appears. Then just hit the second and run down the corridor to the exit easily.

I still had all my magnum bullets so I used those nonstop, it took ~30 bullets. Shoot him constantly until he transforms. You'll have to reload once however, so back up a bit each time you shoot as the bullets will also push him back, thus giving you a few spare seconds to reload.

He's likely burrow into the ground, so now's a good time to reload again. I didn't really use the cages, I just ran around dodging his QTE's until he resurfaced. Then just unload the magnum on him and he'll be dead. For context, I've got the Broken Butterfly upgrades on all stats, except firepower which is on 20. If you've run out of magnum rounds, the TMP is a probably good substitute.

(For a QOL improvement, hotkey the toggle fast forward function on your emulator to a close button so you don't have to suffer running up to the container over and over).


I thought this would be awful and was expecting to have 60 attempts, but it wasn't as bad a Verdugo and I got it under 20 tries.

Worst part for me was easily the containers, for the fight itself stun-lock with magnum 1st phase and incendiary/tmp spray 2nd phase when he comes up. Got this first try after container
