I believe I lost connection around the time I finished this chapter and now it just remains locked even after replaying it in both new game and new game + modes.
And while I'm at it, the one for SW where you have to fully upgrade Ada's health, I got it in a random new game + save and the bar wasn't really full (looked like the same amount as the AA achievement). So I'm not sure which is the intended behavior, either new game only finding all yellow herbs or fully upgrading even if that means new game +. I'm also pretty sure I did see the pop-up with no icon, I guess if all else fails I can always try to delete my save and replay the story and SW

I've heard manual unlocks are a thing and you can tell I beat all other chapters including the fifth one. It's not exactly a challenging one either so would any of the people in charge be kind enough to unlock it for me? I don't wanna have to delete my save file and beat the entire game yet again later only to get a shot at unlocking it (again), assuming that works in the first place

Yeah you can request a manual unlock by either joining the discord, getting verified and requesting one there or by sending a message to

Just include that you have the cheevo for completion of the fifth chapter should suffice as proof since it's a progression cheevo. Odd that it wouldn't trigger on replaying it if you didn't load a clear save though

Thanks, I'll give that a shot. And yeah, I tried both loading a NG+ save file and selecting start from the SW title screen :/ Like I said, it's very possible that I did see it unlock at the time and that somehow messed with things, although now it's locked even in the emulator's achievements menu.
I was even gonna attempt to delete my save file but nowadays I'm a little burnt out from this game so I'm taking it very slowly, and I already have to deal with other unfinished games where I lost my save file :/
