To those concerned: You do not need to get the backsides of the enemy using the Made You Looks or Siren Beetle, as long as they you encountered them, the achievement will pop.

Two enemies that can easily ruin this achiev. 1st, if you're high level as Flint the Trees won't "animate" so you can't encounter them, but there is one before the draco fight that you can interact with to start a battle.

2nd, the Zombieshroom isn't counted when you defeat it while tripping. You need to attack it while on 1hp, lose, continue from the game over screen, eat the shrooms, proceed. The battle memory carries over through the game over screen apparently.

If you like me missed some of the enemies — you can get them with a debug room on VBA and make save for Cheevo emu, so you’re free from running 30+ hours again. This is really frustrating as you need to cheat right from the start and look for a descent walkthrough to find those enemies. But be careful, you need to see every enemy, but the last one. Last one should be seen in battle with achievement emulator, same for back poses or you’ll stuck with unfinished achievement.

Followed this guide for the Battle Memory sprites. There are a ton that are missable at certain points in the story (as early as Chapter 1): https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/gba/914622-mother-3/faqs/57090

It's tricky to set certain milestones because some can be done out of order. But I believe you should have 150/170 before entering Chupichupyoi Temple.

I can confirm that the gana0's comment is 100% accurate.

The guide is rather fair and precise to players. But they don't give details about missable item drops obviously, so be careful to check the other guides for the drops and item boxes while using that one.

For those that want to do this in just a single Playtrough, here are some enemies from the top of my head that are pretty easy to miss (small Spoilers ahead!):

-Soot Dumpling: when going after Claus in Chapter 1, visit Lighters shack again (don‘t dash into the enemy)

-Beanling: rare chance of spawning on the screen before Lighters house, digs into the ground and pops out again after a while (also exclusive to Chapter 1)

-Black Beanling: can be found upon reaching Chapter 4 (same screen as the original Beanling). I recommend getting it during Chapter 5 though, because the amount of EXP you‘ll get will probably cause you to be overleveled, so you won‘t be able to get the Achievement for Chapter 4‘s Boss (due to that one being tied to your Level)

-Top Dogfish: rare chance of being found during Chapter 4, 5 and 7 on the left side of the Lake before the Chimera Lab. Due to its strength, fight it during Chapter 5 or 7

-Lord Passion: obtainable during Chapter 5. You can easily find out where to find that one

-Bright Smile: rare chance of spawning in the Highways Tunnels

-The Squeekz: Make sure to NOT talk to the Mole Cricket before finishing up the Chimera Lab and pulling the Needle associated with it. If you talk to the Mole Cricket before, the Squeekz will not appear

-Pigmask Captain: story required enemy, but if you want his backsprite, revisit the Chimera Lab after pulling its associated Needle

-Zombidillo, Nice Poser and Security Robot: can all be found inside the Chimera Lab after pulling the Needle

-Frosted Bun: obtainable during Chapter 7 in Snowcap Mountain, on the left side of one of the screens (the same place you can find a present with an accessory). Has a rare chance of spawning and looks like a snowball on the overworld.

-Fish Roe Man: Miniboss that can be found underwater on the optional left path (he blocks the Awesome Crown)

-Zombieshroom: before eating the Mushrooms, go right! (You cannot win the Battle)

In Chapter 3, make sure you get every enemy in the Desert and get both of Li‘l Big Bro‘s Sprites.

Same goes for Chapter 4‘s Attic and Chapter 5‘s Thunder Tower. You won‘t be able to revisit these areas after finishing them

If you do miss an enemy in the game, can you "only" collect that one enemy on a 2nd playthrough or do you have to fill out the entire Battle Memory again?

For the Bealings, I recommend looking up a video on where exactly they spawn. They often have one specific location where you find them

If you want a good checkpoint to make sure you got everything you need near the end of Chapter 7 and don't need to backtrack:

After you get out of Argilla Pass (the last enemy you fight is a Heftyhead), you should have 148 front sprites (and 125 back sprites, Pigmask Major being the only back you don't have yet). If you don't have that many listed on your achievement progression, you should check your list. if you have that many, continue and you will end Chapter 7 with a total of 150 front sprites (and still 125 back sprites).
