pode sim tranquilo, usa as portas verdes para dar check point e depois abusa do retry sempre que vc estiver numa situação ruim, as únicas coisas realmente perigosas são os quick time event e algum ataque que seja hit kill

No, Ashley's armor is an NG+ benefit and all challenge achievements are disabled when you use any resources of this type.

I can confirm that you can use Special 2 on a fresh new game for this run. Also take advantage of retries when you feel like you're about to die.

Para este y los subsecuentes logros hay que tomar en cuenta que no necesariamente tienes que guardar al final del capitulo, sino que puedes guardar en cualquier máquina de escribir siempre y cuando no excedas de la cantidad de guardados permitidos. Esto permite que puedas guardar estratégicamente en lugares donde potencialmente puedas morir. Yo usé mis guardados permitidos de la siguiente manera:
1. Cabaña (2-2)
2. Salón de agua (3-1)
3. Estatua de Salazar (4-4)
4. Pelea final con Krauser (5-3)
5. Saddler (Final Chapter)

For this and the subsequent achievements, it must be taken into account that you do not necessarily have to save at the end of the chapter, but rather you can save in any typewriter as long as you do not exceed the number of saves allowed. This allows you to strategically save in places where you can potentially die. I used my allowed saves as follows:
1. Cabin (2-2)
2. Water hall (3-1)
3. Salazar statue (4-4)
4. Final fight with Krauser (5-3)
5. Saddler (Final Chapter)

Died twice to that QTE boulder right before Del Lago, I might cry. ;-; </3 I feel like the QTE's are the real enemy of RE4, not Verdugo, the El Gigantes, Dr. Salvador or U-3.

I used continue on accident, does it void for the rest of the run even if I reset to main menu just after that?

Well in the case of this one you're not allowed to have any saves but for future runs, if you reload an earlier save that has no continues on it you're fine. As long as your rich presence shows no continues you should be fine.

For those who have any doubts, you should read this achievement (and the others that are similar in the same way). Complete Chapter 1 without using continue and your TOTAL saves should not exceed 0.

For this specific achievement, try to run/skip parts so as not to take up too much of your time, always prioritize buying the Spray from the merchant (never combine your herbs, because the game understands that you "already have" spray) and make your first save only after defeating Del Lago.

For the next achievement "So, I Hear You Like Cabins", try to have 6/7 Incendiary Grenades (Fight with Bitorez), money to buy the Rocket Launcher (it will be used in the second El Gigante) and some explosive grenades for the first El Gigante.

im 163 out of 182 so far and this kind of achievement including 90% accuracy is kind of turning me off from retrying every time i make a mistake such a huge demotivator
