Just for clarification since I was a bit unclear on the conditions for this, "no magic or other items equipped" means literally, no equipping anything listed as magic or items in the game's menus. Having armor, shields, and bracelets equipped, and using the level 3 charge attack still unlocked it for me.

Dunno how I did it but he pinned me against a wall in top corner. And I just kept thrusting my sword. I literally had 2-3 bars of life left. 😵.

Achievement didnt pop for me. i had nothing equipped except for my sword. Please fix this.

Nothing equiped but the sword? Achievement clearly says rabbit boots equipped. So yo should have the sword and boots equipped nothing else.

I actually want to see someone do this achievement on either boss, because with or without the boots and nothing equipped it doesnt pop for either one. The description needs to be more specific.

They popped first time for me no problem. You had to have something else equipped by mistake.

Are you doing hardcore? Did you load a save state? Do you have cheats accidently activated? I don't understand why it wouldn't pop if you done none of what I mentioned.

i dont use any of those cheat codes. all the other achievements so far have popped without a problem. so idk what im doing wrong.

This should be marked as a missable achievement: you can only fight General Kelbesque at the top of Mt Sabre once. Same deal for Hopping into Battle 2. And what about Hopping Into Battle 3?

gonna have to disagree. "You can reset and reload" means it's missable. The same is true for every other missable feat in pretty much every other RPG.

"Missable" means "you have to erase progress to get it again."

Did it with pure luck, mashing the sword button at the bottom of the screen. Most of times he goes back when hit. But I had like 1HP left more or less.
