This one can be even more difficult than the Final Fortress one because the pinch moment is right at the end with the worst enemy of those Special Stages, "pipe turns with curved rows of spheres" the janky collision makes it nearly impossible to smoothly grab them, no matter if you're fast or slow.

After trying to beat this one, yeah these emerald score achievements are probably the only ones I feel need to be toned down because the score requirements are just ridiculous. Especially when half the challenge is from wrestling with the wonky special stage physics. Normally they aren’t much of an issue for me since getting the emeralds isn’t that tough, but these really highlight the special stage controls.

This one is so difficulty. My only recomendation,try to stay close to the emerald all the time...and pacience

After a few hours of attempts, finally got this one. It's a struggle, but finally past this one. Even if this just required 1,000 points less, it would've been so much more of a fair challenge. Still worries me that this is worth the same amount of points as emerald 1, which is way easier in comparison.
Only two emeralds to go, 6 and the dreaded 7

This is the hardest emerald challenge imo.
The pain of getting 21960.
