	nintendo4life 21 Apr 2017 12:40 It didn't trigger here. I defeated him without getting hit. I even have the boss fight recorded on video. The achievement about freeing the maiden from the dark palace is unlocked though.

	RuSsile 23 Sep 2020 03:42 Do what Protoblubb said, get the Cane. Hang out in the lower left corner (Tail don't reach that section but his fireball DO) so hangout in the corner. Fireballs come either Cane to avoid damage or learn to dance. Wait till he moves to the opposite

	RuSsile 23 Sep 2020 03:47 I dealt with this boss for long enough in frustration until I decided I didn't care about winning anymore, just finding a weakness.. and to be honest the only one I see is the Corner and and Cane.
	aaronbp 15 Jan 2021 18:30 Easiest way to get this achievement is to reset over and over again until you want to die, and then keep going.
	MrDynamite 22 Jun 2021 20:34 Another Tip: Link must look to the boss, load the sword and hitting the mask with the hammer. Fireballs and the tail can be easy to avoid. First hit with spin attack and the rest with arrows or master sword (8 hits to get him down).

	Ness64 26 Jun 2022 04:36 Just going for the Magic Cape is better because it requires far less backtracking and is almost the same result as the Cane. You'll have to go to Kakariko for the magic upgrade anyway, so from leaving the dungeon, just head straight there. Then after you get that, go to Lost Woods through the left entrance in Kakariko and exit just a little to the right after you enter the forest. You'll be at Lost Woods's right entrance, but from the side you use the Hammer (the other side needs the Titan's Mitt). There's a Dark World warp there, so use it, backtrack to the Graveyard from there and use the Mirror on the top right so you can get the Magic Cape. And even if you don't mind doing any extra dungeons, this route is still better because you can go to Thieves' Town (Level 4) and get the Titan's Mitt right away, which pretty much busts the Dark World wide open. How busted, you ask? If you really want overkill, you theoretically can go for Levels 5 and 6, come back to this boss later with Golden Sword and Silver Arrows, and one-shot it.

	ArturMK 14 Sep 2022 23:45 With 5 BOMB his mask breaks, and when he casts spells or throws the tail on you, use the CANE OF BYRNA to avoid being hit, and when he is no longer with the mask, use the MAGIC CAPE to land 8 hits on him. and win easily.
	Creamydips 4 Mar 2023 15:40 The tail can reach both corners after the mask is off, just a heads up. Be cautious when removing the mask, but get super aggressive the moment it is off.

	cykette 24 May 2023 02:51 Speedrunner tip: If you hold a sword charge, it'll lock you into facing forward the whole time. You can still swing your hammer without letting the charge go. Keeps you from turning around every time you hit his mask. This'll let you break the mask quickly and keep you close to his face so the tail doesn't get you. The sword doesn't damage the mask so it won't lock the other achievement out if you poke it. If he tail swipes after it breaks, you can get in all 8 arrows (or 1 silver) before he moves again, if you're close.
