the clown car got stuck very far fron the end and i think it didnt triggered for me for the first time because of that, got it the second time.

At the start of the level,turn around and go through the crusty studios, you shouldn't be too far away from the truck

I missed the jump at the end and spawned right in front of the clown car sideways and the clown car ended up pushing me into first place!

wouldnt say its as hard as some of comments here suggest. I won it even tho my car broke down few meters from finish and I run towards it lol. Make sure you use the skip beetwen that one guy statue. Its free repair kit plus route that is fast and is never used by AI in this mission

Did this first try. The clown car fucked up the ramp jump at the very end which guaranteed me first place.

When you go to speak to the limo driver, park your car bumper-to-bumper in front of the limo. On my attempt the limo didn't move so prevented a head start.

1. use the shortcut at krusty studios, then just drive in front of the truck
2. no need to exit your car to "talk" to the limo driver, just bump his car while you have speed

other than that, it's just skill and some luck with the AI

First! Just when you get close to the clown car, you give Re in your car until you push it at the point of the mission that you are always in front of and it bugs somehow and stays stopped for a long time.
