I absolutely DESPISE this achievement. There's way too much random chance involved, both with the falling rocks and the Octorok's turning radius, especially since the entire "get behind the boss" section is on ICE.

Honestly, I want to give whomever thought this was a good idea a stern talking to. You are an absolute masochist, and I think I hate you.

So it seems some people had some trouble with this boss. I found a strategy that seemed to work. With the random falling rocks roll and don't stop rolling until they stop. In the dark keep the octorock at the base of your vision and roll. It makes it difficult for the rocks to hit you. On the ice bit, bait him to go one direction then go the other. And catch him on fire. Hope this helps someone in the future

So like the video shows definitely don't use shield or you'll never avoid the succ. Try to keep momentum when rocks falling with ice and you should be able to avoid them, but very random if you'll get body checked during this time. When it's darkness he generally pursues you so just go from corner to corner and roll to avoid rocks if need be. Took me so many tries.
