...You know what? I really don't wanna have to get back here... So I'm just going to leave the game open for tonight. I'll finish this in the morning, assuming Retroarch doesn't crash for some reason (which would really suck).

*THAT* was hard. Stick to the upper left corner in Phases 1/2, using their weaknesses (Shotgun Ice and Electric Spark, respectively), and learning when to come down to avoid getting hit. For Phase 3? Make a wish. No, seriously, make a wish, because while there's definitely skill involved here, you also need quite a bit of luck. Charge Chameleon Sting whenever you're on the ground, and if you manage to get on a paw before using it, switch to X-Buster and use that. Then hit him with Rolling Shield every time you get the opportunity. Remember that you can stay on the edge of a paw without being hit. Eventually, you'll get it. ...After several hours.

É necessário usar as pernas se não num vai passar de fase 😂😂 brincadeiras a parte mas se a pergunta é se pode usar "Dash" pode sim, só não pode pegar (Armadura de corpo, Sub Tanques E Corações).

I have been trying this for 3 days now. My computer and retroarch have been running overnight for 3 days and i cant do it. No matter what i do, no matter how i do it, no matter what, Sigma 2 always messes with me and i keep dying. A few times i almost managed to kill Sigma 2 and i died by the second hand that came at me when i was up there and hit him -.- I am sad, angry, frustrated, all in one!!! Or its easy but im too stupid to do it. How did over 870 people do this on hardcore?
Its probably the last mega man i ever played because im broken..............................................................................

as I'm doing it for years for this cheevo I needed 12 hours for that. Months ago in my fun run I needed almost a hour. If you can do Sigma No Hit (here: https://retroachievements.org/achievement/429755), you can do Zero Mode too :) Sigma 2 is always a problem. Other X Games was easier, especially X4 compared with this one.

There are a sort of players they get it only a few tries, others (like me) need more time to beat it.^^
Shotgun Ice, Electric Spark, Sting Chameleon, Rolling Shield are these that mostly recommended.

its done, that was pure mind-blowing!!!!!!!!!! I can finally shut down my PC after 3 days! unbelievable..........

@MrDynamite I dont know if i will master any more other mega man x, that was too much for me..

haha, i can feel with you RetroBoy. The worst on this cheevo is the fact that u have to climb the Walls at the Beginning over and over and over again until ur Fingers are just numb. And with this numb fingers u have to Beat Sigma 1 where u climb again and again and again. Then u reach Sigma 2 with just dead hands..... and die with a single hit :).

I dont know why the Rarity of this game is 2,5. Maybe im just to noob or to old... i dont know.

And its not the only hard Achievment in this Set. After this im out of playing Mega man Games on this Side :).

@BearHugger thats exactly what really got on my nerves, the climbing and with Sigma 1 also, doing the same thing over and over again in a loop...
At some point you lose patience and are so angry that it makes you broken and sad!
I have already mastered 50 games, there were also some very difficult cheevos... I practiced and did it with joy and was proud of myself. But this, the ZERO mode made everything fun, it was just a horror trip lol!

Mano SLK acabei de conseguir fazer essa conquista foi muito difícil, 2 dias tentando. Pra for tentar tem que treinar muito na última forma do sigma, principalmente com as cargas elétricas das mãos. Agora a conquista de só usar a Buster vai ser tranquila.

3 days and 5 hours trying to unlock this achievement and I got it, it was a constant torture dying from 2 hits against wolf sigma, nice achievement, but I agree it should be in a subset, normal people suffer with this, we're not speed runners or anything like that lmao

Here was my strategy. There is no “easy” way to do it… no special trick. But here’s what I did:

-If you take damage on Velguarder or Sigma 1, try again. That one extra hit can make the difference.

-If either hand opens, it will fire electricity, period. It may or may not move from its original position before doing so.

-Standing on the edge of a hand will protect you from electricity, but the window is fairly small. When in doubt, fall back to the ground to avoid damage.

-Try to be aware of what the opposite hand is doing. It can easily come across and swipe you.

-Do not accidentally stand on the opposite hand when it is moving back across the body. You’ll crash into the head.

-Try to put out damage quickly. Sigma’s I-frames are fairly short. Jump, fire the rolling shield, land on the hand if possible, delay for a very short time, and repeat.

-Don’t give up if hit once. Keep calm, and carry on.

-You will likely make it to Wolf Sigma and die dozens of times. Luck plays a big role, and you may get a bad sequence many times before you defeat him.

-Be sure not to close your emulator. It took me two days and dozens of attempts to get it done. It’d be a shame to have to start the challenge over from scratch.
