How do you do this Achievement? When are you supposed to do it? I just reached this part of the story and nothing I can use hurts any of the animals ...

I know it can be done with a late game weapon, but maybe an earlier one will work? Cuccos are resilient after all.

Ah! I figured out what I was doing wrong! I thought it was animals in Animal Village, I totally misread the Achievement! When I went back to Mabe Village with the Fire Rod, I got it after killing all the animals!

There is a total of 8 animals to kill for this achievement.
5 Cucco
3 Mutts

The easiest/fastest way to do this is to use Magic Powder from the Trendy Game in the village (bottom right) as soon as you get your sword and 10 rupees. (Place your claw in the top left with B, wait for the magic powder to reach the middle section of the right side and Press A)

Sprinkle magic powder on the animal to set it on fire and kill it. ✨🐓🔥💎

Their locations are as follows:

Cucco #1: the mysterious woods between the fishing pond and Madam Meow Meow’s. Go down one screen.

Mutt #2: at Madam Meow Meow’s house in yard with BowWow. Go down one screen.

Cucco #2: Old Man Ulrira’s House, typically at the top of the screen by the wall. Go right one screen.

Cucco #3: Telephone booth. Go right one screen.

Mutt #2: Outside the Trendy Game Shop.
Go left one screen back to the Telephone Booth and up one screen back to Marin and Tarin’s House where you woke up.

Cucco #4: In the yard at Marin and Tarin’s house. Typically in the fenced area. Go up one screen.

Mutt #3: By the Flying Rooster Statue with Marin. (You may think making Marin sing and keeping the mutt hopping in place will make it an easier target as this one tends to jump around a lot in the open space but it will not work because the coding changes the sprite to..err I mean the developers didn’t want anything bad to happen while Marin sings 😉) Anyways, go right one screen to the Town Tool Shop.

Cucco #5: kill this capitalistic clucking customer to collect your achievement …You Monster!
