Good God I didn't realize I needed to hit 100 enemies for a free star. Tried to do it legit for like 34 lives and just can't get it. Gotta grind lives and enemies again

I kept getting hit by fireballs at the last part until I did exactly what they did in the video and jump over the first fireball onto his head and immediately jump over him to hit him again right when his invincibility wears off

Fun fact. I found this one easier then some of the other speed run challenges here.

Beside the start of the castle the rest is fairly easy.

I needed like 20 tries and made it 3 times to Wario.

Then died on stupid mistakes.

Wario tactic:
Phase 1: Just jump on him while he walks
Phase 2: Stand under him. Evade. Jump on him
Phase 3: At start jump on him and repeat this immediately. He wont be able to do a thing.

Regarding refill the 99 kills.

I found the pig tactic above too slow.
Just go to the over world level on the left of the castle and play it 5 times with fire flower. There are many gombas in the level which give fast like 30 kills.

This one was very fun!! Got stuck on the tricky skull block room in 2F and then Fire Wario's jump constantly got me the first three times I got to him.

DEFINITELY when you're fighting Wario, try to get the timing down for stunlocking him. I had lots of time left in the fight and ws careful during the Bunny Wario phase, but you will be so much less stressed stunlocking his final phase. Trust me.

For me it was the hardest achievement in the game, I spent about 1.5 hours on it. The other speedrun achievements all together were faster. This one took a bit more than 99 lives. But I did it without ‘99 kills’ for 671. Died here and there, and on phase 3 with Wario, but eventually won.

Definitely a childhood masterpiece game that I recommend to everyone.

This one is manageable, and doesn't get much annoying. Thankfully the hardest platforming section is at the start of the stage. After a bit of practice you can clear the whole thing up to Wario flawlessly. And Wario himself can be cheesed with consecutive hits (if you can get the timing right)

Hellish and fun cheevo, the hardest from this set, one tip: Save state to train on Wario boss fight so he becomes less unpredictable and frustrating.

That one was hard. Took more than 2 hours to finally get it and master the set. Rather punishing level for a no-hit challenge.

Finalmente consegui, mas tenho uma pergunta: qual é o problema que esse jogo tem com hitboxes? Uma hora é o Mario no ar e o Wario pulando em baixo dele, e ainda assim atravessando ele e te matando. Outra hora é você pulando na cabeça dele e ainda assim ele te dá dano, mesmo que claramente dê pra ver que você acertou. Não sei se isso é por conta das limitações do Game Boy, mas isso me deixou com tanta raiva. Eu já devia ter conseguido essa conquista pelo menos umas 4 vezes se a hitbox do Wario não fosse tão ruim. Mas enfim, tirando isso foi um desafio interessante. Não faria de novo 😂

Did it with 40 seconds to spare. In a more optimal run I could probably save another 7-10 seconds.

This Archievement... HOLY SH** HOW INSANE IS
Really. This thing took me arround more than 6 hours to complete, literally a HELL to me compared to other archievements i got previously.
I need to farm in the Overworld Level like 1209381093 times to get 99 kills of enemies, and get the star when i kill the firts wario ball mini-boss, fore sure a hell travel for me, this give me vomitive feelings and other such of bad things. I don't recommend you this if you are easily annoyed for things like this sh**

Probably this make me insane and give me nightmares during the next weeks. But Almost i can say, I Mastered it! Hoorray!
