This achievement feels exceedingly free and pointless. The only players who don't achieve this in the first ten seconds in Green Hill Zone must be actively avoiding it.

very hard, i had to play green hill zone 13 times to get 20 rings and it took a good hour and a half

I'd like to send a message back to Scott in 2013 and let him know that in 9 years it'd be up to 19613 of 19792. That's about a new unlock every 4.5 hours for the last 10 years and the pace is a lot faster than that nowadays :)
