Ok this didn't work with Ariados, Murkrow, Smoochum, Kingdra, Bellossom and Houndour team. Which one doesn't count as Johto pokemon? All are gen II after all.

Removed Kingdra and Bellossom and it popped. I'm glad Smoochum wasn't the culprit it was a pain to get it :D

Not sure why the Lvl cap is 39 when the Gym Leaders you face prior to this are 40+, but either way.. easy peasy!

Solo'd her with a lv 38 Magcargo lol. RNG reliant though because you need to setup one or two Curses on Crobat while confused. Then just use Rollout and win, with Flamethrower as a backup (OHKOs Venomoth and Ariados) if you miss later.

Solo'd with a level 36 Skarmory, no set up needed. Just spam fly lol

My team was over the cap, so I caught a Houndour, go it to Lv.35 to learn Flamethrower before evolving. Easy win with Lv.38 Houndoom!

Level 36 Xatu with Psychic...Only have to watch out for Crobat's Confuse Ray. Clean sweep otherwise.

This one may sound tough due to your main team probably being overleveled here, but this ones super easy. All I used was a Skarmory (lv30), Sudowoodo (lv30), and a Noctowl (lv32). Lead with Noctowl, use Hypnosis and follow with Flash to lower Crobat accuracy. Go into Sudowoodo to ko with Rock Slide, rinse and repeat. Skarmory was there for the 2 Weezing. They cant touch Skar and I just used sand attack because they go boom. Skar can also live one Explosion easily and tank the 2nd if they both hit.
