Here, I think it may be worthwhile to Repel with a level 16 Pokemon in your party's lead. This way, you avoid the 30% chance of encountering Sentret.

Lake of Rage in the morning, one encounter and caught it with the stick. Maybe I was lucky.

Saying this again because it was only half-mentioned above and I didn't see it until now - **A Challenge Icon appears when you encounter one holding a Stick.** You don't need to catch tons of Farfetch'd like I did.

this one didnt take too long for me, the level 16 mon + repel sped it along a little quicker :)

Thanks to the level 16 + repel trick, this took about 20 minutes running back and forth on Turbo. All in all relatively painless. The one I'm truly dreading is the Chansey one. :c

Holy hell, after encountering 50 Chanseys with no egg. I needed a break and switched to stick hunt. And boy the stick appear, on the 312th bird. Now back to the egg hunt, may the next 50 of them be luckier.
