It is not a RetroArch option, it is an option within game settings. Press Start, choose Option and you’ll see “Game Mode: Shift”. Change it to Set and that’s it.

Para los que hablen español: solo tengan 2 pokemon el inicial y mankey tienen que ser level max 14 cada uno, tambien tengan la configuracion en el juego de este modo https://imgur.com/a/hyRkfnE y listo apenas derroten a brook les dara el logro :D

🇧🇷 Se atente para não ultrapassar o level permitido, vá para o ginásio com o Bubasaur lvl 12, por que lá vai precisar enfrentar um capanga.

Com o Bubalsaur é easy 👊😊

Galera, o "Set Mode" não é uma configuração no emulador, e sim na opção no jogo
Logo onde tem Text speed, Battle Scene e em seguida o Battle Style, só alterar de Shift para Set

at first i thought 12 was the max number so i didn't use bulbasaur
so i used mankey and spammed low kick
