    To unlock the Emerald Race, you'll need to play and beat all the races consecutively, leaving or resetting the game takes away the gemstones on your Chao's chest. I think I wasted a couple hours of my time after learning this.

    To fix the crash when winning a chao race emblem, go to Quick Menu>Core Options>Video>Delay Frame Swapping=ON

    Beat this with my stats floating around the upper 400s, no reason to go higher than that if you just want the emblems.
