Wow this story is a massive downgrade from Sonic's. Tails is overpowered in this game and all the levels in his story are ridiculously easy with the possible exception of Ice Cap. Oddly enough the B rank missions are harder than the A rank ones because you actually need to stop yourself and collect rings. Tail's story is mostly a copy of Sonics at the beginning; you play Windy Valley through Ice Cap at the same time in Sonic's story and you face the same three bosses and sub-games as well. It's only at the half way mark (the remaining two levels) that anything different happens in Tail's story.

Tails only has three things unique to his story; We get more background with this Echidna girl who seemingly helps us on our journey and Chaos. A sandy level with the snowboard like in Ice Cap. And an exclusive final boss. Other than that, it feels like Tails was an afterthought when they decided to do multiple character stories.
