here's a tip! There doesn't seem to be a stat cap for the partner who's level needs to be 5 or less. So, throw a bunch of sitrus berries, irons and zincs to increase its health and defensive stats to make it tanky.

It only fainted once for me and thats only because i stepped on a warp trap and got flown far away.

oh also, make sure to stay in the first few floors with a Tight Belt on and level it a bit until the wind starts stirring.

The best tip I can give is to use a Geodude at LV 5 or less as he can avoid damage from Sandstorm and have good defenses. Give him a lot of gummies until he learns avoid trapper. So you check this IQ Skill. That will help you a lot.

Also learn the IQ for your leader called Trap Seer. This way your leader can step on a trap that is not visible and will not activate. So your partner will avoid it because his abilities only avoid traps that are visible. Make sure he stays close.

The achievement didn't came, I used a lvl1 wurmple (forgot to bring the weather band and it cost me 7 reviver seeds), saved the game and noticed that did not triggered

I have just done this with a lvl. 5 Geodude as a leader and a lvl. 100 Espeon
The achievement didn’t trigger…

You should have gone in the other way around. Level 100 Espeon as the leader and the Level 5 Geodude as the partner.

Good luck! If you didn't do it last time, try to take a Tight Belt with you, to prevent hunger. it's okay for them to level up, so stay in the first few floors for a bit.

Why did I not get this achievement? I went in with a level 86 Golduck (leader), an Azumarill (level 19), and a Raticate (level 5). I made it all the way to the end of the dungeon with him alive and he's now level 27 but the achievement didn't unlock...

I made sure Rattata (level 5) was in my team before Azumarill, it had to be on my team because it knows surf.

Ran through this dungeon again, and it seems to be one of three things that allowed it to unlock. You:
- Can't bring anyone else along besides leader and lvl 5
- Can't control them (make leader) any time during the run
- Can't let them feint / revive seed

I went with just a leader and the lvl 5. Didn't control it at any time and didn't recruit any members during the run. Either I'm reading the achievement unlock the wrong way or these aren't specified in the description.

Preparing for this achievement: Took Geodude through Tiny Woods and gave him all my Iron and Zinc (def. and sp. def. boosters) then gave him all my gummis til his IQ was maxed. Gummis always boost a random stat by 1.
I gave Geodude a Pass Scarf so most attacks will hit me instead of him. Looking back I think giving him gummis was overkill since the pass scarf kept him from taking damage

Did this late game with the level 1 Blissey I got from Jirachi's wish, great mon to do it with. Levels up quickly, I got mine to level 30 whilst avoiding as many enemies as possible, It learns refresh and softboiled which are great utility, it can heal itself on the sand floors. Of course it should hold the pass scarf and bring lots of cleanse orbs, rollcall orbs to deal with sticky traps and warp traps, aswell as a few petrify orbs for monster houses.
