Also, even though you can't SUMMON Thunderbird, you can still use it in other combos. Like Venus. Uncover a great deal of the map and your damage will soar up. Then I suggest swapping to Jupiter + Unicorn when the second phase starts.

FYI, you can't even have the Cross/Boomerang equipped. Just killed Drac twice following this cheevo's description (not using the Cross) and it didn't pop.

Jupiter + Unicorn works great in second phase, just be warned that a bat can spawn inside the shield if you get too close, so play safe and try to stay at a distance.

Dont waste your time with Jupiter + Unicorn, you can Diana + Unicorn all the way, way safer and faster.

I'm gonna go against Riverwind on this one, use Jupiter + Unicorn for the second phase. It's way safer than what Riverwind is suggesting, you need to be in a straight line from Dracula for the homing effect to take place and even then it only works when he's on screen plus the bats can hit you easily. The proper method takes awhile though due to the reduced strength.

Honestly Dracula isn't that bad besides Meteor and that's only because you need to put in the combination every time and it sometimes doesn't work when you want it to.

I was hoping to find a better way to avoid the meteors than nailing the Apollo + Unicorn input every time, but I couldn't. I can't tell you how many times a meteor timed it perfectly to hit me in the tiny window between one summon ending and the next summon beginning. So frustrating.

Jupiter + Unicorn for the 2nd phase is efinitely the way to go. You have to be really patient, because it takes a while, but there's essentially zero risk of getting hit so it's worth it.
