To access Sound Test mode, on the file select screen, highlight the "Erase Game" option and press Down, A, R, B, Y, Down, A, Y. Press Select to change the current song.

"SERIOUSLY!? SINCE WHEN WAS THAT AN ACHIEVEMENT!?" was my reaction when I just saw that I unlocked this achievement without knowing about it! Aquatic Ambiance is my favorite track in the game, so I like that there is an achievement for listening to it in the sound test! Shame it isn't worth anything though...

How are you supposed to know this code? Does the game tells you the code at some point?

I think you were meant to find it by reading Nintendo Power/talking to someone who had. That was how most of the cheat codes and really arcane secrets were meant to be found back in the day.

Be very careful. I didn't realize I was still in erase mode and deleted my 101% save. Fortunately I'm missing only the speedrun and warps achievements!
