This one is referring to the last screen of this stage (after the key door) and NOT the coin room after the green pipe (that one seems impossible even with items). To find this "secret location", in the last room, look for a visible cloud very high up (press up to make the screen scroll higher up). Shoot the cloud to reveal a staircase. Now go all the way left to the door you came from and find an invisible cloud nearby containing a switch. Press it and RUN back to the staircase to collect all those coins. You'll probably need to shoot a bunch of eggs at the coins to make it in time. If you fail, you'll have to start the level over.

After the key door hold ↑ shoot the cloud, go back near the door you left and find the invisible cloud shoot and get all the coins on the stairs

Use the watermelon, and shoot all the first coins first and then the others, if you can't, so you don't lose the melllancia reset the game.

I've tested it only with eggs, had not thought about the watermelon. So it will be possible with shooting eggs only.

Got it using the watermelon. I think I COULD do it just using eggs (looked like I'd need 2 or 3 for grabbing the coins), but just went with the easier option.

Eggs or not, though, for me this was MUCH easier by just climbing to the top quickly. Don't worry much about not getting every coin while going up, you can get every coin you missed on the way back down, just move fast. You want to only slow down once you're back where the Egg-Plant is, that's when you should start throwing eggs or spitting seeds (for eggs you could probably throw a few just before you land there as well). I even missed one row with my jump (so I had to jump again) and still got it in time.
